# Windows Explorer thumbnails for eufyMake .empf files

Whether you search for "empf thumbnails", "empf icons grey", or "see eufyMake projects in Explorer" — the underlying issue is that Windows cannot render the eufyMake project format. EMPF Preview registers a thumbnail handler so Explorer shows the actual design of each project.

## Notes

Windows caches thumbnails, so after installing you may need to refresh the thumbnail cache once; the docs explain how. OneDrive Files On-Demand placeholders may not thumbnail until files are available locally.
