EMPF Preview is currently available as a free early pilot. All current preview, thumbnail, Seer plugin and export features are included while compatibility is being tested with real .empf files.

Pilot notes

This release is focused on real-world compatibility, especially Explorer thumbnails, Seer plugin setup and render behavior across user folders.

  • The installer is currently unsigned and may show Windows warnings.
  • Licensing and payment are not enforced in this build.
  • Feedback and compatibility reports are welcome.
  • Future paid plans may be introduced after the pilot.

Why no paid plan yet?

The current installer does not include license enforcement, and the first release is intentionally unsigned while compatibility is validated. Keeping the pilot free avoids promising paid gating that the software does not yet enforce.

After enough real-world testing, paid licensing may be introduced with clearer release quality, signing and support expectations.

If thumbnails, Seer plugin setup or PNG export behave differently with your files, send the EMPF Preview version, Windows version, file location and a screenshot.
